Planning

Planning is a vital part of work of every public sector organisation’s approach to improving performance and delivering excellent service to its customers.  HelpGov Ltd offers services in three main aspects of planning – visioning, strategy and plan making, and policy making.

Visioning

A good vision tells you exactly what an organisation aspires to.  It does it in words that are crystal clear, fire the imagination, make sense to all your stakeholders, and inspire your people to help deliver it.  It also provides a firm basis for your high level priorities and plans.

HelpGov Ltd can help you find the right vision for your organisation through an efficient and systematic process of development involving the right people – from the leaders in your organisation through to customers and staff.

Strategies and plans

Strategies and plans set out what your organisation will do to achieve its vision and deliver a service.  An effective organisation will have as few brief plans as possible, linked together to help manage the work it does, properly developed, monitored and reviewed, and related to the resources available to deliver them.

HelpGov Ltd can help you develop an effective planning system, fine tune an existing system or even develop an individual strategy or plan.

Policies

Policies set out an organisation’s practices and standards for a particular service or function.  They usually contain technical information, are often written by technical experts and can take disproportionate effort to develop.  Put together, one organisation’s policies can present a bewildering and diverse array of incompatible documents.

HelpGov Ltd’s approach to making policies can help ensure that your policies are developed consistently and efficiently and communicate their purpose clearly.
